With over 18 years experience as an Osteopath, Sara utilises her hands on techniques as well as postural, exercise and lifestyle advice to assist in both injury management and prevention. She often incorporates her Pilates training alongside her Osteopathic treatment to provide her patients with long term and sustained results.
Having had four children of her own, Sara has a special interest in pre and post-natal care, as well as Paediatrics. She loves nothing more than assisting a woman throughout her entire pregnancy journey; from the back, pelvic and rib discomfort often associated with postural and hormonal changes during pregnancy, to the upper back and neck pain related to caring for a newborn.
Sara also enjoys treating newborns for digestive complaints such as reflux, constipation or wind, and musculoskeletal problems following childbirth such as neck stiffness and restriction (torticollis). Sara has undergone further post-graduate study in this area and uses gentle, yet effective Osteopathic techniques to help improve these conditions as well as provide parents with the support they need to manage the conditions at home.
Sara has recently undertaken further study in the treatment of inflammatory breast conditions. She incorporates ultrasound therapy with specific hands-on techniques to provide relief for conditions such as mastitis, engorgement and blocked ducts.
When Sara is not in the clinic, you will find her in the laundry doing 200 loads of washing (kidding!!!) or keeping active playing tennis, netball or running alongside her kids on their bikes.
